2025 is our year to amplify voices, champion innovation, and drive purpose-driven actions. Whether you’ve been with us from the start or are just joining our community, we’re excited to have you on this journey. In January, we embraced new opportunities, fostered deeper collaborations, and pushed the boundaries!
Your health is your greatest asset—don’t wait for symptoms before taking action! Regular health check-ups are not just for treating illnesses; they help you stay ahead, detect potential health concerns early, and maintain overall well-being. Through our recent free medical outreach organized in partnership with IPRD solutions, over 1,000 people have benefited from the essential health services we offered. We remain committed to promoting preventive healthcare and empowering communities with access to essential screenings. Stay informed, stay healthy, and take charge of your well-being!
As part of our stakeholder engagement, we met with district women leaders in the church community to introduce the Empowering Society Through Investment in Women (ES-TIW) Project, a collaboration between G Mortgage Bank and HACEY. The discussion focused on loan access and training, key components of the project designed to support 500,000 women with financial services, digital skills, business growth, and healthcare access. The initiative was well received, as many church members involved in petty trades need support to expand their businesses. Through partnerships like this, we continue to drive financial inclusion and economic empowerment for women across Nigeria.
On the PAVE (Platform for Amplifying Voices and Empowerment of Girls) Project, we held a stakeholder meeting in Lagos, where partners actively mobilized girls for the fellowship. Stakeholders emphasized the need for a tracking tool to monitor participation and movement, ensuring effective engagement while reinforcing their commitment to the initiative.
Additionally, we conducted a parent/guardian engagement in Ogun State, focused on understanding their perspectives on gender roles, SRHR education, and adolescent support. These insights helps tailor PAVE’s approach to align with community values while ensuring a safe and empowering environment for girls. Through continued collaboration, we are building a stronger support system to help adolescent girls access the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
The SRHR Policy Dialogue 2.0 at Splash FM 105.5, Ibadan, brought together experts and advocates to explore the role of digital advocacy in shaping youth SRHR policies.SpeakersDare Olagoke-Adaramoye, Oreoluwanimi Olawuyi, James Folasayo, and Oluwaseun Akinolashared insights on bridging policy gaps and leveraging digital platforms for impact. With a live audience tuning in via radio and Instagram, the discussion highlighted youth engagement, policy implementation, and digital tools for advocacy. The conversation reinforced the need for collaboration to advance youth-friendly policies and access to SRHR services, ensuring young people have the rights and resources they deserve.
Happy New Month! As we wrap up this edition, we remain committed to driving impact, fostering collaborations, and empowering communities through financial inclusion, youth advocacy, health initiatives and other aspects. Stay engaged, stay informed, and let’s keep making a difference!
