HACEY is seeking a passionate, skilled, and experienced Human Resource Officer to play a vital role in supporting the organization’s mission by ensuring that we attract, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Role Description:
This is a full time on-site role for a Human Resource Officer. The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for employee relations, recruitment, performance management and compliance with organizational policies.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
• Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
• Develop and implement strategies for attracting top talent, including employer branding and outreach initiatives.
• Coordinate onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly and effectively into the organization. - Employee Relations and Engagement:
• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting open communication.
• Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to enhance job satisfaction, motivation, and retention. - Performance Management:
• Oversee the performance management process, including setting performance expectations, conducting regular reviews, and providing feedback.
• Support managers in identifying and addressing performance gaps, and in developing and implementing employee development plans. - Training and Development:
• Identify training needs across the organization and develop tailored training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
• Coordinate the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as necessary to meet the organization’s evolving needs. - HR Policy and Compliance:
• Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry best practices.
• Advise management on legal and regulatory HR issues, ensuring that the organization remains compliant with all relevant employment laws. - Compensation and Benefits Administration:
• Manage the administration of employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with the organization’s objectives.
• Review and recommend updates to compensation structures, benefits packages, and incentive programs.
• Handle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of salary payments and deductions. - Employee Data Management:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, and performance data.
• Utilize HR software to track employee data, generate reports, and provide insights for decision-making. - Strategic HR Planning:
• Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions, providing insights on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
• Lead initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, including restructuring, change management, and culture transformation. - HR Reporting and Analytics:
• Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Monitor key HR indicators such as employee satisfaction, and recruitment metrics, and take action to address any issues. - Stakeholder Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, management, external HR service providers, and government agencies.
• Act as a point of contact for all HR-related queries and concerns, providing guidance and support to both employees and management.
• Represent the organization in HR-related matters with external bodies, including regulatory agencies and industry associations.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in human resources.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
- Professional qualification in personnel management
